Our Story
Light Street Pictures was informally founded in 2015 to produce micro-budget motion pictures. Their first project was the stage production of Dull Space for the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in 2019. Following the success of that production, the Players agreed to begin work immediately on a motion picture version of Dull Space. Filming began in 2020, only to be brought to a screeching halt by the coronavirus pandemic. After regrouping more than a couple of times, Brian, Amy, Dan and Rebecca are back in the cockpit filming in 2024.
Most of us come from the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. Brian is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dan is from Wilmington, Delaware. Rebecca is from Baltimore, Maryland, but has called the Philadelphia region her home for many years. Amy is originally from Ohio, but went to college in Pennsylvania, where she met Brian, and has been living in Pennsylvania for ten years. All of us have been in the performing arts in one way or another for our entire lives.
